In this wonderful department of grades 3-5, we have a vibrant and enriching journey for our Grade 3–5 students, filled with opportunities that nurture academic excellence, personal growth, and community connection. From dynamic assemblies that showcase student talents and learning to enriching excursions and incursions that bring the curriculum to life, our students are engaged in hands-on experiences that deepen their understanding of the world around them.
Our annual Sports Day is a standout event, promoting teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. The Buddy Reading Program also continues to strengthen cross-age relationships and literacy skills, as older students mentored younger peers with warmth and encouragement.
Student wellbeing remains a key focus, with a variety of wellbeing events designed to foster resilience, empathy, and mindfulness. We are proud to support our students’ spiritual growth through inclusive Hajj activities and joyous Eid celebrations, which celebrates the rich diversity of our school community.
In classrooms, a love for learning thrives during Literacy and Numeracy Week, filled with challenges, games, and collaborative activities. Students showcase their critical thinking and persuasive skills through our Debating Program, confidently presenting arguments and listening respectfully to others.
Creativity is also on full display through student-led media and performance. Our ATC Live Media platform gives students a voice to share news and achievements, while the Love Your Vocals program inspires self-expression through building relation ships with Werribee zoo and love for animals.
As we reflect on the many successes of all past years, we are proud of the dedication, curiosity, and enthusiasm shown by our Grade 3–5 students. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our teaching team, families, and wider school community for their ongoing support in making these experiences so memorable and meaningful. We look forward to even more exciting opportunities ahead as we continue to nurture capable, confident, and compassionate learners.
