What's On
Al-Taqwa SRC students had an inspiring visit to the Australian International Academy - MSC for a dynamic leadership forum, where they engaged in meaningful discussions, shared ideas, and collaborated with fellow student leaders. The experience provided valuable insights into leadership, teamwork, and community building, while strengthening connections and empowering the leaders of tomorrow.
Grade 5 Sovereign Hill excursion Over the last 2 weeks our Grade 5 students stepped back in time to the Gold Rush era! One of the highlights of our Excursion to Sovereign Hill was definitely the “Gold Fever” activity, where students played different roles during the Gold rush. They witnessed how banks often did not trade fairly with workers on the goldfields and explored how miners were underpaid for their gold meanwhile banks were reaping the rewards instead! Students also ventured into the underground mines, experiencing what it was like to work in dark, narrow tunnels. Of course, it isn't a trip to Sovereign Hill unless we use the iconic metal pans to search for our own Gold as well! Overall, students enjoyed this fun hands-on adventure to bring history to life.
A valuable evening at Al-Taqwa College as parents joined us for the AIQ Primary Hifz Program information session. It was a great opportunity to share insights, answer questions, and discuss the journey of nurturing strong foundations in Qur’anic memorisation and character. We look forward to partnering with our families in supporting our students every step of the way.
