An inspiring day of leadership, collaboration, and growth at the 2026 Al-Taqwa SRC Forum. Students from Islamic schools across Melbourne came together to connect, share ideas, and develop the skills needed to become effective leaders within their schools, communities, and beyond. Through engaging workshops, thought-provoking lectures, and interactive activities, students explored the qualities, responsibilities, and impact of leadership. A heartfelt thank you to all participating schools, staff, and students who contributed to making the forum such a meaningful and successful event. May Allah ﷻ guide our youth and grant them success in leading with integrity, confidence, and purpose. Our students enjoyed a special Eid celebration with a visit to the animal petting farm. It was a joyful experience filled with laughter, learning, and hands on interactions with a variety of animals. Moments like these bring our community together and create lasting memories for our students.
We were honoured to welcome Ahmed Abdo from Victoria Emergency Services, who spoke to our students about the realities of working in emergency response. His insights into the skills, dedication, and commitment required to serve the community provided valuable inspiration for students considering a future in this field.
