What's On
Our Grade 5 & 6 students showed incredible teamwork and quick thinking at the Cranbourne Regional Debating day this week. Competing against Lysterfield Lake College, Tulliallan Primary, and Hillsmeade Primary, Al-Taqwa came away with a fantastic 6/9 wins! Despite being mostly first-time debaters and facing a last-minute team change due to illness, our students showed incredible resilience. A special thank you to our students in the audience who stepped up to the podium and performed brilliantly! The Scoreboard: 6/9 Wins! E-Bikes (Age 18+): A 3/3 Clean Sweep! Team vs. Individual Sports: 1/3 Win! Secret Topic (No Sugary Rewards): 2/3 Wins! A massive round of applause for our Best Speaker award recipients: Sheza Faraz (Double winner!)
