Hifz and Dawah Program

In response to the need of providing committed and advanced students with the opportunity to study the Quran, the Arabic, Religion and Quran Department established the Al Taqwa Hifz Program.

Students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 excelling in Quran will be nominated to take part in the program and then assessed to verify their eligibility in the Hifz program based on Quran knowledge, memorization skills, attitude and assessment. The Hifz Program empowers students to increase their memorisation and reading skills of the Quran. Students learn Tajweed rules through a structured program and the recitation and memorization process. The parents of the selected students will be notified early in the year followed by the enrolment process.

A Dawah Program will also be followed and has been specifically designed to train our students in Khutbah and Islamic speeches. Our aim is to provide our community and school with reliable and informed spokes people InshaAllah.
